Shared by Craig Lock ("Information and Inspiration Distributer, Incorrigible Encourager and People-builder")
because
THE CHAMPIONS CREED
Then come the four "D's":
* Discipline (self)
* Determination in overcoming disappointment(s) - how human beings can prevail over very trying circumstances.
"GOOD IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH WHEN GREATNESS IS POSSIBLE
Three-Time Olympian - Ruben Gonzalez
[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
"I'd rather attempt something great and fail, rather than attempting nothing and succeed."
- Norman Vincent Peale
"Success is to be measured not so much by the position one has reached in life, as by the obstacles which he (or she) has overcome, while trying to succeed."
- Booker T,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Washington
Champions are consistent. They usually deliver elite performances... year after year.
When things look bleak and "the chips are down", champions rise to the occasion, just like cream rises to the top.
"The task ahead of you can always be overcome by the power within you...and the often seemingly difficult or even "impassible") path ahead of you is never as steep with the great spirit that lies within you."
- craig
"Your greatest obstacle can become your sweetest triumph."
- Lance Armstrong
* Unity of effort: The ability to work with others (ie teamwork); because you can't make it on your own,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Everyone has different skills and abilities - that is what makes them unique!
There is unlimited potential in the human condition. ANY individual human being can cultivate the values of self respect, self-reliance and self discipline, which will greatly enhance their life. Like a champion, 'ordinary' (what's that!) people also have great capacity and potential to achieve... even the "extra-ordinary" in life.
"Some people see things as they are and say 'why?'. I see the dreams that never were and say 'why not?'"
- Bobby Kennedy
* P= Persistence
Champions succeed where so many others give up,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
“YOU (and everone) are all champions in your own way!"
A champion is more than a mere title. Rather, it is a set, a collection of personal qualities. What are some of these qualities that make a champion?
Thanks for everything, dad. See the dream never died - it's just taken another course!
* Desperation: "How much do you want it?"
Always give your best.
"I am a champion.
I believe in myself.
I have the will to win.
I set high goals for myself.
I surround myself with winners.
I’m cool, positive, and confident.
I’m willing to pay the price of success.
I stay relaxed and in control at all times.
I focus all my energy on the job at hand.
I take responsibility for all of my results.
I have the courage to endure and persist.
I vividly imagine what victory will feel like.
I am a champion and I will win."
* Clarity of purpose (keeps a champion "driving on")
- Author Unknown
"A glorious destiny that rises above the limitless horizons of the human condition."
Discover, then celebrate the champion of life in YOU...
* Commitment (total): Commitment and resolve to "keep on keeping on" through the tough times.
"Tough times don't last, but tough people do."
PRACTICE like a champion.
SWIM like a champion.
LIVE like a champion."
OK, then I'll just add a bit to the article
If you think you will lose, you are lost.
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will;
It is all in the state of mind.
"A wish is just a wish, A New Years Resolution is just a
resolution. Goals have deadlines and are stepping stones
down the path, the stair-case to your dreams."
(Keep on writing then, craig!) #
"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: A desire,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill."
- Muhammad Ali
"Meeting a goal takes dedication, effort and sacrifice and
all that it takes to turn a goal into a dream is TIME."
- craig
Champions have the vital six 'C's':
"Together, one mind, one life at a time, let's see how many people we can impact, encourage, empower, uplift and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials."
* Inspiration. ("I don't wait to get inspired, but once I start work, writing, the inspiration simply comes, arising in my consciousness"- anon).
'Leap and the net will appear.'
"If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you do not.
If you would like to win but think you can not
It is almost a cinch you will not.
"You are not what you think you are; but what you think, you ARE!"
* Courage: Vast amounts of courage and determination in overcoming many obstacles to get to the very top of their field

Still you don't have to come first... at first. Just keep your torch shining the longest and brightest... then youll be a winner , a champ in the game of life
*
WHO AND WHAT IS A CHAMPION?
* Belief in ones abilities ("believe it to achieve it")
Conquering others requires force. Conquering oneself requires strength."
- Lao Tzu; Tao Te Ching
"And in this there is for us mere mortals a sobering humility in the knowledge that they have not just had the gifts, but were prepared to work far beyond the normal physical and mental boundaries to develop them to the full extent of their powers."
- fine writing by Ian Gillies writing about former All-Black rugby player Ian Kirkpatrick in the Gisborne Herald (web site [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] )
"Great people are just ordinary people, who usually find
themselves in extra-ordinary situations...and who possess
extra-ordinary amounts of determination,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ''Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.''
- Muhammed Ali
* Confidence: They have great confidence in their abilities. Self Belief is the key here.
Champions really "trust their game", especially in times of pressure... "when the heat is really on".
PPS:
#
As they carry me to my deathbed, I'll be saying:
"Lord,
Can you just give me one more hour to finish off this one last article, or book.... PLEASE!"
- craig (as inspired by the quote of singer, Barry Manilow)
Firstly,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],
* Ability = Talent
And finally
* Dedication: "What are you prepared to sacrifice to achieve success?"
Champions have to have the skill and the will,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. But the will must be stronger than the skill,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
- Muhammad Ali
STOP. Enough there now, craig. Your "signature" is already longer than your article!
Champion racing drivers possess great powers of concentration, where the slightest mistake in 2 hours racing at Monaco, like being half a metre off the ideal line could send the car sliding into the Armco barriers sourrounding the track*
"Never underestimate your opponent.
Work on your weaknesses until they become your strengths.
Remember that a great effort is usually the result of a great attitude.
Dedicate yourself to a mighty purpose.
Win with humility, lose with grace.
Ignore those who discourage you.
Remember that how you conduct yourself out of the pool is just as important as how you conduct yourself in the pool.
Talent is God-given – so be humble.
Fame is man-given – so be thankful.
Remember when you’re not working to improve, your competition is.
Author&#039,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s Bio:
If you think you are outclassed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you are.
You have got to think to rise.
You have got to be sure of yourself
Before you can win the prize.
* the "Will-to-win"
"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
- Mahatma Gandhi (and Lance Armstrong)
Life's battles do not always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But sooner or later the man who wins is
The one who thinks he can."
- anon
NB: Champions have an unconquerable spirit.
and finally (of the "C's"),
* true champions demontrate great consistency of performance. That is the hallmark, consistently delivering top (excellent) displays and results.

9. Skinny girls sip, not slug, cocktails.
If you want to drink and stay skinny, you can! Just don't get sloshed. Skinny girls order fewer drinks and sip them slowly. This will keep away the calories and is far classier than jello shots and keg stands.
7. Skinny girls don't drink diet soda.
Just don't drink it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. It makes you crave sugar and contains sodium which makes you retain water. Choose water instead (or tea).
6. Skinny girls drink from the cup, not the carton.
Studies show that by pouring food or beverages into a smaller container like a glass or bowl, you can consume up to 30% fewer calories than eating straight from the carton or jug. Forcing yourself to get up from the couch for a refill will keep you from finishing off an entire pint of ice cream. Eating treats and snacks in small dosages is perfectly fine - but it's all about moderation. This goes back to reason number 3. If you're eating smaller portions, you're likely to eat more slowly and savor the food,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which will make you feel fuller faster.
1. Skinny girls only eat real food.
Processed, highly artificial foods were created with addictive delicious ingredients (on the cheap) to make sure you keep eating them! It's one of the reasons you can't eat just one potato chip, or why you find yourself gorging over sugar when you're not that hungry. Skinny girls don't think twice about fake food - they'll choose an apple over a McDonalds cheeseburger and receive the same filling of "full" without the chemicals and calories. Make a pledge to only eat REAL food - food without any artificial flavors or colors, food that's from the earth instead of a lab, and see how you feel. You'll make smarter choices and eat fewer calories.
13,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Skinny girls will choose the vegetarian option when available.
Not all skinny girls are vegetarian, but studies show substituting vegetables for meat dishes every now and again can help cut back on calories and improve digestion.
2. Skinny girls spend more time (and sometimes more money) selecting food.
This is related to reason number 1. Real food, in general, is more expensive and can take more time than fake food, but eating right should always be a priority. Devote an hour to going to the grocery store. Carefully read labels,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], go out of your way to get to a farmer's market,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and make selecting food an enjoyable experience rather than a chore. Grabbing a quick bite on the road is a sure ticket to a fat ass!
8. Skinny girls love soup.
Soup,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], since it is water-based, can be a great way to get fuller faster without excess calories. Soups are also easy to make - pick one day a week to make 2 or 3 different soups, then freeze them. Microwave when you're ready and enjoy! Many canned soups are perfectly healthy and calorie controlled. Remember to eat only real food, though!
10. Skinny girls are willing to eat alone,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Social eating is one of the fastest ways to get fat. Remember college? One of the reasons women put on the freshman 15 is not because the food is necessarily worse than what they were having at home. It's because eating is a social event. You're going to spend more time around food (and likely more time in restaurants where the food is highly caloric) if you're a social eater. Skinny girls are fine to have meals at home alone. They'll cook dinner for one and enjoy it slowly with TV or music. Do you have to eat with others often due to work or family reasons,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]? That's OK! Remember to eat slowly and choose food wisely at restaurants.
Good luck, healthy girl!
3. Skinny girls eat slowly,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Remember when your mom told you to slow down because you wouldn't be able to taste your food? Girls who take their time eating will feel full without having to eat everything on their plate. Eating slowly gives your digestive system time to catch up to your hunger zones in your brain. Plus, food was meant to be enjoyed. What's the rush?
12. Skinny girls enjoy the outdoors.
This isn't necessarily so,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but healthy skinny girls typically enjoy walking, hiking, jogging, and other outdoor activities. Make a pact to do at least one thing outdoors per week or weekend. You'll spend more time exercising than you would at the gym and it's more relaxing.

15. Skinny girls do exercise, but it's not something they worry about.
Ok, so not everyone loves the gym. And that's OK. You don't have to obsess over fitness to be thin. In fact, skinny girls are almost apathetic about it. They won't let the gym, or any exercise, stress them out. Over thinking about food or exercise can lead to yo you weight patterns, frustration, stress, and disappointment. Having a healthy attitude about exercise, that it's something one should do but it's not the end of the world if you skip a workout, is your best bet for having the right mind set.
4. Skinny girls are willing to let food go to waste.
This is related to reason number 3. Especially if you're on a budget, it's normal to think you have to eat what's in front of you otherwise it will go to waste. Global hunger and lack of access to fresh water are sad issues, but just because you ate that extra piece of cake doesn't solve world poverty. Skinny girls will let part of their meal go in the disposal. If you're really concerned, invest in food storage and refridgerate or freeze the last bits of food you didn't want.
11. Skinny girls are willing to be high maintenance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
This is related to reason number 10. Skinny girls are willing to bother the waiter at a restaurant for what they want. Want the dressing on the side? A different dressing? How about no cheese? Or wanting your meat cooked a specific way? Or substituting a salad for the french fries? Ask for it! That's their JOB as servers, it's to SERVE you. Don't get upset if they give you a hard time - you're entitled to eat only what you want, so ask for it! Ordering straight off the menu and eating the calories you didn't want is a fast track to fathood!
5. Skinny girls eat breakfast.
Even if it's just a banana,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], having calories early in the morning helps you eat a smaller lunch and jumpstarts your metabolism.
14. Skinny girls don't chew gum.
Chewing sugar or sugar free gum will make you crave more sugar. It can also fill your stomach with gas, which causes flatulence and bloating.

3. Let people know your intentions right away. Are you looking for a soulmate,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a friend,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or just a little spice?
9. People are intrigued by details. What are your favorite songs? What is your favorite form of art? What is your favorite thing to do on a Saturday night when you are all by yourself? What is your favorite thing to do on a date?
11. Before you submit your profile,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], read it out loud. This is a simple way to catch any grammar errors. Then use spell check. Finally, paste all of your profile data into a text only file so you can efficiently copy and paste the profile into various communities or forums.
4. Studies show that a profile will receive a better response (sometimes by 3 to 10 times) if you include a photo, so make sure not to skip this step.
12. Keep records. Start a log (either a computer file or a paper journal) and make note of the people that you have met and enjoyed visiting with during your online dating experience. This can help you remember to update your profile when necessary, as well.
10. When you are describing what you are looking for in a partner, make sure not to limit yourself unnecessarily. You may have an exact vision of what this person looks like and does for a living, but any specific traits you mention may limit the potential of your profile.
5. Check to see if the online dating service has published guidelines or tips for their specific profile arrangement. For example,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], some experts say that an ideal profile has 250 words,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with 150 words about yourself and another 100 words depicting the kind of person you are seeking. Of course,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], these guidelines are going to vary by the service you have selected.
1. Writing a good online dating profile utilizes many of the same skills as writing in general. To avoid becoming intimidated by the process,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], write like you speak. Pretend you are writing to your best friend. Then simply begin writing as quickly as you can, without taking the time to read anything over or cross anything out. Once you have filled a page or two,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], go back and see what kinds of sentences and phrases you would like to keep and then do the same process again. This is a great way to help your personality shine through your words.
6. Talk about your social life, your family, and your pets. Do you have a close relationship with your extended family? If you do, make sure to mention it. Let people know what is most important to you. What do you value most in your life?
7. Be as positive as possible. The online dating profile is not a place for negativity. If something you wish to mention is not positive, try looking for the positive aspects of the situation and emphasize those.
2. Be honest about yourself and the type of situation you are looking for. Instead of thinking about what the other person may be looking for, think about the kinds of traits you bring to the table. Be sincere,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], open, and honest while keeping your best face forward.
Author&#039,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s Bio:&nbsp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
8. Use more nouns and stories than generic adjectives. Instead of telling about yourself through long narratives,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], demonstrate the traits via details and stories. For example, instead of saying that you are witty, include witty anecdotes in your profile. Likewise, your profile should not read like a resume. Strive for a casual tone, and mix in plenty of facts and specifics.

In the "perfect divorce" a couple will come into their perspective lawyer's offices ready to sign an agreement and quickly end their marriage. Unfortunately the "perfect divorce" does not usually happen in real life,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and in most cases he negotiations take more time than the divorce proceedings themselves. There is usually an abundance of offers and counter offers with the occasional spouse who just will not budge no matter how much time the process takes.
One of the mistaken misconceptions that many couples have is that if they hold out long enough one of two things will happen:
• Their spouse will change his or her mind about the divorce
• The spouse will give in to the demands just to get the divorce filed and completed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Unfortunately either of the above scenarios is unrealistic at best. That isn't to say there is never a case where a spouse withdraws or modifies a divorce application just to speed things up,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but the methodology is not one that has a proven rate of success. In most cases both spouses are stubborn as they can possibly be and require the intervention of a third party in order to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement. Unfortunately there are many times it becomes necessary for divorce lawyers to throw up their hands in desperation and call upon someone else to help with the negotiations.
What happens when a divorcing couple cannot come to an agreement over the terms of their divorce? Perhaps they tried to work things out amicably before they even consulted their perspective divorce lawyers but failed to succeed. Their divorce lawyers have now been attempting to obtain a mutually satisfactory agreement but both parties are refusing to compromise. What is the next step? Obviously they cannot file the divorce application until there is some kind of agreement on the terms—or at least there is something the lawyer of the spouse filing for divorce can include in the divorce application and petition. What other methods are open to resolve these differences? When both the couple and their lawyers fail to help them reach an agreement,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], there are two other options:
• The lawyers may suggest an impartial mediator who will sit down with the couple and attempt to draw them into a mutual agreement,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The couple may also choose to enlist the services of a mediator before they consult with a divorce lawyer in order to save the extra hourly fees that will result from long drawn out fruitless negotiations,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
• If the mediation process still fails to bring about a mutual agreement,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the lawyer will file the paperwork based on he requests of his or her client and leave the final decision up to the court. This method is more time-consuming than mediation and is not something the court will decide on the day of the divorce hearing—in fact,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], some judges will take as long as 30 days to render a final decision. On the day of the hearing the judge will only grant a temporary order on the pertinent issues such as child custody,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], visitation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], child support and spousal support.

Strengthening exercises help increase muscle strength. Strong muscles help to support the joints, making the joints more stable, and helping a person move more easily and with less pain. The two types of strengthening exercises are isometric and isotonic.

In this week&#39,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s blog I'd like to focus on how commitment strengthens deadlines and how deadlines can strengthen your commitment.
Today most of us have one of the least favorite deadlines of the year. It's tax day. Like most people,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I really don't enjoy doing the work that comes with filing my tax return. Still,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], every year I start early, I break the task down into segments, spread those segments out over several weeks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and this year I got everything done early Friday morning.
Find someone who can serve as an external force that can support you, believes in you and will ask if you are doing what it takes to reach those results. If you don't know anybody that can provide that external support for you, you're welcome to contact me and we'll set something up together.
Author's Bio:&nbsp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
Deadlines can also help to strengthen your commitment. We all have goals and desires. We talk about them a lot after New Years Eve when we make our resolutions. For the vast majority, those resolutions fade about halfway through February because they're vague and usually lack structure. If you really want the important and meaningful things in your life to come true and if you're really committed to the results that you want to achieve in business, then you have to practice identifying specific,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], measurable goals. Create deadlines for yourself,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], write them down and share them with someone you can count on to hold you accountable. For example, I have a commitment to continue developing content, this blog and weekly Monday Morning Mini Motivation Meetings. By having listeners dial in every Monday at 8:15 a.m,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm “on the hook” to keep coming up with new motivational material.
A lot of people have issues with these oppressive,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], external types of deadlines that force you to do things you don't like to do. Instead of acting disempowered by the limiting notion of rules,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it helps to consider all rules as agreements made by choice. If you want to live and work here in the United States, you have to either follow these rules, or face the consequences. That's not a very inspiring point of view. If instead you imagine yourself as a key member of society and that you've saved a life today by funding the fire department with your tax money, it empowers your commitment to do the task. You can use this frame shifting technique to get motivated toward any deadlines you're not too fond of. Imagine what agreements you've made a commitment to and then think of something great that will come out of that agreement.

This is where my single muscle philosophy comes into play. It is a mind game, no doubt about it. But it is the mental fortitude that pushes us all to achieve our goals,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whatever they may be. For anyone that has ever lifted weights or performed any other strenuous activity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you know you feel it the next day. That uncomfortable yet comforting feeling is more that just pain. That sensation is the delivery of knowledge that your body is changing. That muscle is forever altered by the single impact of the prior days events. You may not see an immediate change in your muscle tone or the scale,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but the thought that you have breathed new life into that particular muscle should encourage you to not waste that effort. Since muscle activity is cumulative,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the piling on philosophy applies here. This is not meant to deliver a guilt-laden burden to exercise,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but rather to encourage you not to waste your precious life's time by doing something yesterday you won't follow through with today.
Just move a single muscle today,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Feel the difference tomorrow,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Build on that well being the day after. Every single muscle makes a difference,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

I have no particular aversion to exercise. As a matter of fact,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I rather enjoy it! The obvious problem is once you stop exercising for any period of time it is difficult to jump-start the process again. You know you have let your wellness level suffer. You know you will have to work very hard to regain what has been lost.

2) Identifying how you want to serve them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Once you know whom you wish to serve, determine the avenues that are best for you. Is it developing and selling products or programs, or providing one-one-one or group consulting? Is it giving presentations or workshops, or advising or teaching in other ways. If you are drawn to trying a new approach such as presenting workshops, but have fear around it, face your fear and move
Aesthetic: The way to communicate your value is to create unmistakable language and images that reinforce your core idea. Think of “Tiffany Blue” unmistakable, right? Your brand can be that distinctive.
Part II:
Breakthrough is around the corner for you. No more resisting…just start believing that it can be a fulfilling, empowered process and you can achieve great success and joy in your work. Like all meaningful things in life, building your business requires faith, commitment, energy, talent, and an unwavering belief in yourself. Go for it!
I hope these tips help you on your way to a more powerful expression of your unique talents as a professional, consultant,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and entrepreneur.
Author's Bio:
What do you need, as a coach, consultant, or other helping professional, to name and claim your niche?
forward despite it. Develop a workshop on a topic that you are a true expert in, and offer it locally (present it free of charge at a library or other community venue if you need to in the beginning, to gain
the expertise you need to feel like a pro delivering it). Know how you want to contribute in the world (through goods, services, information,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], resources, etc), and get on a powerful path to doing that.
5) Remaining teachable at all times– continue to expand your skills (don’t be narcissistic)
All along the way,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it is vital to remain teachable and flexible. Set out with a solid business and marketing plan, but be ready to adjust your plan, goals,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and your skills, as need be. Attach to your vision of being a highly successful professional, but not to the exact “how’s” and “when’s” – your ego’s timeline of how it needs to unfold often misses the mark because you’re not in complete control of all that transpires – there are other factors at play. (For more about the importance of remaining teachable in business, see Success Magazine’s recent article.)
1) Determining exactly whom you wish to serve
It’s critical to know exactly whom you wish to serve in your practice or business. Who is your “ideal” client – the individual or group you love to serve and for whom your products and services are a perfect it. If you are unsure about the profile of your ideal client, observe yourself in your work for the next month. Watch closely – which clients or customers do you feel absolutely great interacting with, and which clients make it feel like a struggle. Begin to flesh out all the parameters of an ideal client for you – income, demographic, values, needs, pain points, interests, where you can find them, etc. The clients/customers you love to serve and who make you feel great and successful doing it, are those you are meant to serve.
7) Partnering with other like-minded folks who can help broaden your skills, capabilities and reach
Don’t try to build your business alone and in a vacuum. Growing practice or business takes alliance, affiliation, support, and community. If you are concerned about partnering, look deeply at the reasons – often unfounded fear is at the heart of your wish to isolate. Or, a bit of narcissism may have crept in, telling you that you’re better than all the rest and don’t need anyone else. It’s simply not true. We all need a little help from our friends. Let that narcissism go, and open your heart and mind to finding like-minded partners who share a common ground but also have great complementary skills and talents that round out your own. Partnering helps expand your horizons, broaden your reach and your ability to help your clients and customers. Partnering is also fun! It often brings ease into your life and work as well, because in the end – you realize you don’t have to do it all yourself.
It takes work to get this level of clarity, but it pays off when your potential client quickly understands the real value they’ll get from you.
I’ve had a long, bumpy journey on the road to finding my true niche as a professional. From years of inauthentic (and unappealing) corporate work, to becoming a psychotherapist and coach yearning to find my true “sweet spot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],” my path has been fraught with blocks and fears about “naming and claiming” who I am as a professional in this world. Finally, I can say I’ve discovered exactly what I love to do and for whom, at least for the present.
6) Developing your brand – communicate powerfully how you are special, and why folks should hire you
Having a unique and powerful brand is critical. As Robert Friedman of Fearless Branding explains, here’s the formula: Great brands are differentiated in three essential ways:
(For more information, visit [link widoczny dla zalogowanych])
5) Being unteachable
Be open, and learn, learn, learn. Find several mentors whom you trust, and ask for assistance. Read about people who have made it big in the field you love,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and follow their lead (if it feels right). Avoid being overly attached to yourself, to your ego, to how you think this must unfold, and to your own timeline. As far as you can, let go of the “how’s” and the “when’s” and be very true to yourself, following what you love every day with openness and flexibility.
Part I - What to Release:
2) Insecurity - Jealousy of your competitors
I’ve met so many helping professionals who are insecure, jealous, and highly competitive with others in their field. Let me say here – if you’re wracked with insecurity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you’re not the best at your work - period. You’re afraid of something (perhaps your own power, or a feeling of incompetence, or experiencing the infamous “impostor” syndrome), and that fear keeps you from growing, applying yourself, and connecting fully with others. If you feel jealousy and insecurity about your work, you’re not alone. Find a helper (therapist, coach, teacher, etc.) who can assist you in identifying what you’re most afraid of, and work through it successfully. It’s just fear that’s behind your jealousy – and fear can be neutralized if you allow yourself to feel it, and move beyond it.

4) Remaining closed to your emotions
Your emotions are your truest and best guidance system – listen to them. Watch yourself for the next month – which of your clients do you love to work with, which bore you to tears. Which areas of your work light you up? How do you do what you do uniquely? Which formats do you love playing in – teleseminars, workshops, one-on-one, large groups, etc. -- and which make you feel shaky and uncomfortable. After you’ve observed in yourself what you love and what drains you (and what makes you great), make a plan to move forward toward what you love. Or, if you’re compelled to pursue something but remain afraid of it, get over that fear,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and try it out anyway. But all along the way, learn from your emotions.
And why do we fear success? Because in our hearts, we know that success in this area will take us on a hero’s journey that will require of us some great stretching and growing that will challenging. Either way, you can let your fear stop you, or propel you forward – it’s up to you.
3) Knowing what your special talents and gifts are in this niche – how are you different, better than the competition?
There are thousands of gifted and talented individuals out there who are providing similar services and products to your own. The key to rising above the competition is to know clearly what your unique talents are. How are you different in what you do and provide? How are you better and what stands you apart? If you don’t the answer to this yet, there’s a process to discovering it involving exploration, discovery, and assessment. First, ask five colleagues and clients/customers whom you know well and trust to give you candid feedback about what you do as a professional. Ask them: 1) What’s great about the work I do? 2) What could be improved, and 3) How do you think it’s different from my competitors? Listen to the feedback and integrate what feels right.
The following are steps that need to be addressed to claim your true niche, and serve it well.
Here are some essential steps, in the form of what you need to release, and what must be embraced, to move forward:
Take the time to uncover if you have any of the following traits or behaviors that are holding you back, then let them go:
Next, watch yourself for the next month – ask yourself, “What am I doing in how I deliver my products and services that is different from all the rest?” As my colleague and terrific branding expert Robert Friedman of Fearless Branding explains, “We have to know what emotional gift we bring to our clients – what do we give them emotionally when the use our services or products? For me, it’s breakthrough – what is it for you?
Emotional: Start with what you do that’s different. Then, think about what that really means for your clients – the emotional benefit. Speak to your customers’ hearts and guts – not just their heads.
3) Scarcity mentality – Worrying that there’s not enough money or business
It’s a waste of precious time to stop yourself from doing what you want because you think the field is glutted. Once you identify your true sweet spot, gain deep expertise in how to serve this niche
effectively (perhaps differently from what you first envisioned), and differentiate yourself from others, there will be plenty of work for you. Whatever you believe will come true, so identify your beliefs around your work, and shift away from the negative ones. If you believe you will succeed and commit yourself to it, the chances are you will. If you think you’ll never make money doing what you love, you’ll create your reality to match your beliefs.
4) Getting over your fears about coming forward in this area
I work with many superior healing practitioners, coaches and consultants, as well as corporate executives and other professionals who are truly gifted in one particular area, and long to pursue it, but are downright afraid. What are most people afraid of? Both failure and success. In terms of failure, it’s very common to fear failure at the thing you most deeply long for, because in your mind, if you fail at this, your dreams will be truly shattered. But from my perspective, you must face this fear head on, and walk through it, in order to live a life of passion, power, and purpose. Yes, you might fail at first, but if it’s meant to be, you’ll find your way, and do it supremely well.
Functional: This means you have to DO something different than your competitors. What is that for you?
Say Yes to!
In overcoming many challenges in finding my true niche, I am now focused on helping others do the same. Throughout these many years, I’ve observed what it takes shine in your chosen area – how to be one of the best in your selected niche, and be confident enough to market yourself powerfully and rise above the competition.
Part I: What to Release
1) Traces of narcissicism - Thinking you’re the best without doing the necessary work
Being the best requires effort and commitment. For instance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if you want to write a book about helping people, you must understand what the great contributors who came before you had to say. It’s vital to learn what you do and bring to the conversation that’s different from the rest. To be the best, be open to receiving training, engaging in study, and receiving critique from people you respect. Also, you need others to assist you on your path – you can’t do it alone. The key here is to get your ego out of the equation and use a beginner’s mind to learn how to be the best.

Have you ever felt so comfortable around a client that you let your guard down? Under the right circumstances, it is often not a problem. Notwithstanding, there can be times where you can get into trouble, or even lose a client, if you get too casual with them.

Now, it's important for the reader to know that change won't happen overnight,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but with work it will happen. For those willing and brave enough to put in the effort, they will see many things change in their lives. So the key indeed would lie in the effort.
Author's Bio:&nbsp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
Greg Braden goes back many centuries to olden times of the scroll. He looks for ancient insights on how to live in modern times. He believes that the best knowledge is knowledge that is tried and true through time. Self improvement has been around since the dawn of time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and people had guidance on how to improve themselves then. The self help movement isn't a recent invention. Based upon this,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the book gives the readers the wisdom of the ages. People are able to get grave insights into the psychology and the spirituality of man. They will find that the more things have changed, the more man has stayed the same in his quest to resolve certain issues and problems.
When people can understand the ancient solutions to these problems,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they learn how these solutions are still applicable to modern life. This is the whole point of why people go after self improvement in the first place.
This statement might seem over the top, especially since there are too many book and series on the market. They all claim to be able to point the way to the "Holy Grail", or to be the best invention since the electric light bulb. But with this series,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Lost Language of God, Gregg Braden delivers on the hype. He helps people to find their potential in ways that no one else is able to do.
In the end,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the books teaches us that spiritual and personal change and renewal is possible and attainable. The Lost Language of God by Gregg Braden is great and a marvelous guide for those who want to start the journey.
Greg Braden teaches that there is a web of energy that exist in the world,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and that we can all tap into lost energy to change our lots in life, and that we can become different people if we want to. It's possible for us to capture it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and to harness it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and to use it to change our spirits from the inside out. It would be very much worth our while to go on this undertaking.
There's a certain truth in life that certain choices will bring about certain outcomes in life. If people want to see their lives full of goodness and prosperity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then they need to make the right choices. This is why people should buy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and listen to an audio series called Lost Language of God by Gregg Braden. It's claimed to be one of the best self improvement audio series ever produced.

Have you ever felt so comfortable around a client that you let your guard down? Under the right circumstances, it is often not a problem. Notwithstanding, there can be times where you can get into trouble, or even lose a client, if you get too casual with them.

To know that you can be instrumental in helping others make positive changes to their lives is a really nice feeling. It doesn't have to be as a coach, it can often be smiling at the stranger you pass on the street. Going that extra mile for someone you care about. Picking the piece of rubbish off the ground and putting it in the bin, or even just holding a door open for somebody. Finishing things off and tidying up after you,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], especially if you don't always do it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], get into the habit of not leaving your mess for others to clean up or finish off for you. In business it can be simply returning a call within the promised time - even if you haven't got the information you'd hoped to have,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], keeping a customer updated on time makes a huge difference and it is a simple easy task to do.
Author&#039,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s Bio:&nbsp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
So what's a body to do when we slide into the realm of just enough instead of being our best? For me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it meant stopping! Literally! And then taking stock of where I was, and where I wanted to be. Then it was a matter of making a list of all the things that were really important to me, then the things that were less important and so on until I had a list of what was not important at all. The not important at all list got my attention first because it was here that I was able to weed out the things from my life that I was spending time on half-heartedly or fully resentfully and stop doing them. That freed up time in my schedule for me to then allocate time to the things in my life that are important and re-schedule the whole list into a manageable timeframe. It gave me the freedom to be better at the things that are important and that is rewarding in itself.
Encouraging Excellence's tag line is "if it's worth doing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's worth doing well". And the idea behind that is, if we are going to start something we want to be really good at it. If I was to see a client and only give them 50% of my attention,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I would not be able to help them make the changes they want to make in their lives effectively. They would in all probability go away feeling very let down and quite annoyed and depending on their own method of dealing with issues would either completely slate me to others or just not turn up for the second session. And I would not blame them either. But I do listen 100% and I want to help them to make the very best of their lives. And yes, I get paid to do it and that in itself is a reward,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but the feeling of a job well done is every bit as important.
With everything you do,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], do your best. Much easier said than done.....sometimes. There are times when we get caught up in the day-to-day tasks and add a little bit more to our already busy schedules and then we start to feel the pressure building up to maintain standards that are becoming increasingly difficult. It's at times like these that we start cutting back on our best. We shave a standard back a little to make sure we can finish all our tasks and slowly without realising we let them slip until we are not performing at our best and often we don't have time to notice. It's when our children say things like "you always say, 'we'll see' but we never go anywhere anymore 'cos you're always busy". Or you find yourself cancelling nights out with pals because you are either too tired to bother getting ready to go out or are finishing something else that needs to be done.

Sure,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I’d have done all of these things willingly if the situation were right. But I accept that it wasn’t. And another dog is meant for me somewhere. I can wait. I am patient. Situations like this teach us about disappointment, acceptance and faith. The right dog will come. And I will be ready because it will be the right dog for me.
Then last night when we got there for our second visit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], her regal stance along with her striking red coat and white face charmed me all over again. As I had uttered the words,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], “Let’s do the paperwork,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],” I was struck with the fact that through some miscommunication I would not be able to take her because my son who lives in the home was not with me. I had explained the night before that he was trying out for sports and would not be able to come after work with me for that reason. Besides he was 17-years-old and knew about dogs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], especially since we have one. I could have lied and told them I lived alone but my honesty ended up costing me the dog. They wouldn’t hold her even for me to go home and pull my son from a try-out which I couldn’t do to him anyway. Someone else was in line to see her and in an instant my dreams of rescuing this gorgeous dog were fading into someone else’s reality. I was disappointed. I was angry. I was hurt. I was unforgiving. I was intolerant. I was distraught. I left there knowing that I would never again return to that shelter.

Last night my Shih-tzu and I went for the second night in a row to an animal shelter to visit with a very sweet Irish Setter Collie mix. We waited 45 minutes to visit with this beauty the night before and the shelter was ready to close when we got our turn. So after a brief visit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I was asked to bring Coco back for another visit the next night because there wasn’t time to process an adoption anyway. But,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], my heart was already captured by this charmer with one blue and one brown eye. She was great on the lead and not at all dominant with Coco. After just a few minutes I knew this dog was for us and the handlers felt so as well. When we left, I went like a new parent to the store and proudly purchased nearly $100 worth of toys,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], food and bowls in anticipation of her homecoming the next night.
Yes, I cried,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but only until I got home and gathered all of the doggie purchases for their return. And then I did what I always do when met with disappointment outside of my control – I accepted that it was not meant to be. I began to pay attention as the reasons why became as vivid as my dream. That night when I opened the back door to let Coco out to go to potty in 5 inches of snow in 29-degree darkness I didn’t have to put a leash on a 56-pound dog and take it for a walk. The next morning in the deafening silence of a 15-degree morning as I opened the kitchen door in bare feet to let Coco out for her thirty-five-second tinkle I did not have to dress with boots to do some morning housebreaking training. I didn’t have to get up early. I didn’t have to come home at lunch-time from work to let a dog out. And I didn’t have to throw away any chewed shoes or socks.

There are many countries which sacrifice million of human lives because of the improper water supply and management and nothing to blame governmental managers because water it self is very high solvent and almost every thing gets dissolves in it. In such a case it is really very difficult to ensure the proper water supply in the countries with very high population densities,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Especially developing countries bear the burnt of the diseases caused by the consumption of contaminated water,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
In earlier days people use to store rain water for drinking and medical purpose in ponds and in other storage devices. Around 73 percent of earth surface is covered with water but out of which only 2 percent is potable. We get potable water from the rivers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], ponds and from underground water. Industrial revolution and our lack of care had made water in rivers and ponds contaminated and hence not for drinking purpose water.
There are two popular ways by which a person can get the under ground water for drinking purpose by digging the earth like well and other machines or by spring water. Spring water Is actually underground water which comes out by a way on the earth’s surface,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Spring water is considered to be the most reliable water till now but at many places impurity of copper is found making the water look red color,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. There are places from where the underground water was not found appropriate for the human consumption purpose as at many places industries directly dispose chemical waste in to the underground water,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
There are many types of impurities which can be found in the water,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it can be industrial waste like copper, zinc,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], chromium and other harmful chemicals or it can be the presence of microorganism like virus and ameba. Each type of contamination may cause harmful effects over the human body and it is very important to use filtered water for the drinking purpose. Till now human civilization were relying over the underground water for drinking purpose as this type of water goes through a natural water filtration system more popularly known as Osmosis process. This process acts like water filtration system by using different layers of earth. When it rains, water from the rain goes in to rivers and ponds but some of the water gets absorbed by the surface itself. Then this absorbed water goes down to the earth and in the way keep on filtering as different layer of earth acts like a natural water filtration system.
Even if the food is cooked with the contaminated water then you are prone to food borne diseases. Many fatal diseases like diarrhea only accounts for millions of deaths per year and most of them are kids as their immunity system is not that much strong and on the other hand cost of installing any such water cooler is not too much high to avoid the health of your family members.
Author&#039,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s Bio:&nbsp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
As a conclusion to the above any type of water you drink whether it is underground water,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], spring water or supply water,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it should be checked for purity and safety and must be gone through a water filtration system also. There are many ready to use such water filtration system in the market with minimum costs. Any water dispenser is the most common device observed in offices these days because many Human resource related researches show that office with pure and safe water supply have less absenteeism ratios as compared to their counterparts.

The most important characteristic that mentors share is the willingness to lead by example and to focus on the ways in which differences will make the company stronger. Some of the best mentors are going to find that those who they have mentored move beyond them in the company or become better at the job than the mentor himself or herself. There is a strength that is a part of being a mentor that not everyone has; however, developing those strengths is something that will benefit the mentor, the mentee and the organization overall.
Not everyone can be a great mentor,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], after all. The most successful mentors are going to be those people who want to share their experiences, their knowledge, the skills and the solutions that they’ve discovered for common issues that come up on the job. Those who are going to be fantastic with being a mentor will have an innate understanding that sharing what they know with a new hire puts them in a position of power rather than someone who has the sense that knowledge is power.
While mentors lead by example, not every leader is a mentor. Some of the best leaders lead by instructing others, by engaging those who follow them and by expecting others to simply embrace their way of doing things. Great mentors,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], on the other hand,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], lead by showing that there’s always more to be learned. Mentors lead from within their team not from outside of it.
Of course, mentoring programs do foster an environment in which others can become mentors. Some of the best mentoring training comes simply from being mentored and recognizing the benefits of mentoring programs. By working with a great mentor who is inspiring, reliable and consistent,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], those who are looking to develop mentoring skills will be able to get a sense of whether or not they’re interested in becoming a mentor and what they may need to work on in themselves to become better at their jobs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], more effective in their lives and to, in time, grow to mentor others.

The more that businesses start looking into mentoring and the advantages that it offers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the more that they are going to want to focus on the characteristics of a mentor. In order to develop a mentoring program,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it’s important that you are bringing the right people on board to get the program started.
In order for someone to be a great mentor,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he or she needs to be comfortable with the work that they are doing. A great mentor sees himself or herself as a part of a team,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and is consistently committed to making a difference, to being dependable and reliable - especially when that means that it’s a good idea to consider another way of doing things, a method that might be more logical or intuitive. In other words, mentors need to be willing to do more than just teach their experiences,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they must be willing to learn from others around them - including their mentees.

Rose Bowl - Gift suite, Fossil watch, New Era hat, Oakley Flak Pack 3.0.
Beef 'O' Brady's - Sony PlayStation 3, Oakley Eyepatch 2, Oakley backpack duffel, mini-helmet.
There must be a lot of single moms in their 30's and 40's in Draper who would have felt prosecuted by that Cougar team name and who must carry a lot of influence in the town. From the These-People-Must-Be-Idiots file:
College football Letter of Intent Signing Day was a couple weeks ago. One recruiting pitch to potential signees is that the school has a strong history of qualifying to play in a bowl game at the end of the season. What is so enticing to a student-athlete about playing in a bowl game at the end of the season? It's the perks, baby.
Capital One - $420 shopping trip to a local Best Buy, Timely Watch Co. watch.
The NCAA allows each bowl to award up to $550 worth of gifts to 125 participants per school. Schools can,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and almost always do, purchase additional packages that they can distribute to participants beyond the 125 limit. In other words, if the football party itself (players and coaching staff) takes up the entire 125 person limit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then schools will buy additional packages for student-managers, team doctors, Board of Regents members, etc. In addition,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], participants can receive awards worth up to $400 from the school and up to $400 from the conference for postseason play, covering both conference title games and bowl games. Each represents an increase of $50 over last year. So if you add up the numbers, players can receive up to $1350 worth of gifts at the end of a successful season.

Corner Canyon High School,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a brand new Utah high school to open in Draper, Utah,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in 2013, asked its student body to vote for the team name. The kids voted for Cougars. The school board vetoed that name because it decreed the name "too racy" and chose the Chargers instead.
Another popular bowl perk is the "gift suite" for players. Gift suites are rooms hosted by the bowl committee and set up at the team hotel or a school campus. Players, coaches, and VIPs are allowed to choose their gifts from a variety of items, including electronics, mountain bikes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], recliners, and back packs. At least 14 of the 2011 bowl games offered gift suites to players.
